 I am Kiara B...

A creative, living & working in Atlanta, Ga.

Since I was a young girl, entertainment has always been my passion. From creating plays with the neighborhood kids in my backyard to writing and directing music videos with my sister, I believe art is a form of activism, and creating change is my purpose. Realizing film was an unconventional career path, I decided to take the safe route and study Sport Management at Barry University. While working for various sports teams in Miami and Atlanta, I re-discovered my passion for creating memorable experiences through the art of entertainment. Having over 6 years, within the sport and live entertainment industry, I made the conscious decision to stop ignoring my calling and make the shift into film. My goal is to utilize film as a medium in hopes of changing perceptions, unifying, uplifting, and establishing a collective community for all.

"My website is all about my hustle and drive to make my dreams a reality."

In the words of the great poet, Langston Hughes, “Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.” Langston and I definitely have something in common. This journey in film has been anything but a crystal stair, yet I would not trade it for the world. Working as a Production Assistant on both studio and independent film sets, to Producing an indie talk show, I know a thing or two about coordination, organization, perseverance, resilience, hustle, and grit. With my skills I have gained working as a production assistant, I am looking for an opportunities that will continue to help me grow and further develop my skills as a director.

In the words of another great poet, Jay- zI’m a hustler baby.” My website is all about my hustle and drive to make my dreams a reality. This virtual resume is just some insight into who I am and my determination to be the great artist I have always envisioned myself to be. After all, this industry is not about who you know but who knows you and I welcome you to get to know me a little better with hopes of collaborating in the near future.

Much love,
